Langley Pond Triathlon

What a great race we had at Langley Pond! We are soooo appreciative of the support we received from Charles Gee of FCA and all the volunteers from South Aiken High School! Those folks went above and beyond to make this event such a huge success. Congratulations to all the team members who raced in this event. And thank you Erik for your pre-race prayer!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us… (Hebrews 12:1, ESV)

The team continues to grow with amazing speed – yellow was everywhere (not just because the race shirts were yellow J!), thanks in large part to teammates telling their friends – like Nick White and Bob have been. Are you encouraging your friends to join and support FCA-E??

Special thanks to: Clay, Layton and Bob for a great showing and Novice help at packet p/u Friday; to Bubba, Jennifer & Caleb for welcoming folks to the tent, and to Nick B for coordinating the volunteers! Folks like y’all are making God’s work happen in endurance sports!

Kudos to:

2nd AG or category: Lee, Nick B, Donna

3rd AG or category: Bob

4th AG or category: Carolyn (21 seconds!), Slick

Coming soon: http://www.scride4life.com Please join the Greenville Huddle in support of the South Carolina Ride for Life on June 12-14. If you aren't going to ride it, consider supporting someone who is! Larry Nolan (larrynolan@bellsouth.net) & Brandon Lovell (ablovell@gmail.com) are two of the folks looking for sponsor funds.
