Indy Mini-Marathon

FCA-E athlete Monica Wright recently competed in the Indy 500 Mini-Marathon which is the largest half marathon in the country with over 35,000 competitors. While difficult to set a PR in such a large race, Monica ran a solid 1:58 under less than ideal conditions. According first hand reports from her husband and FCA-E triathlete, Bob Wright, the wind and rain let up just long enough to make the second half of the race very hot for the competitors.
